Travel teams& tryouts

Where our teams play

Our U9 through U12 teams compete in the Advanced Development Soccer League against clubs across Metro Richmond. Our boys U13 academy team plays in the UPSL Academy DMV Conference. Travel teams also play two to four tournaments a year.

How teams are formed

The 2026–27 season is underway. The main window to join is our annual tryout each May, and we hold supplemental sessions through the year for age groups with roster openings — so it is always worth asking.

Final roster decisions are made by Club Director Liam Hogan. Team offerings depend on tryout turnout — we merge age groups where that lets us keep more families playing rather than turning them away.

Returning players

Returning players are our first priority. If your player was with us last season, you will hear from us directly before tryouts open to the wider community.

Older players

Our travel program currently runs U9 through U12, plus a boys U13 academy team. We do not field teams at U14 and U15 at present, and we will add them as numbers support it. Players aged 16 and over can look at our PRO23 squad, which holds tryouts over the winter.

Girls teams

We field a U9/U10 girls travel team this season and we are working to expand the girls program. If your daughter is outside that age range, get in touch and we will tell you what we can do.
